My Review:
Rating: ☆ ☆ ☆
I liked this story. I was sure I would. I wanted to read something I don't read as often. Now I am not a super fan of the t.v. show Supernatural but I have watched it. This book feels similar to the show. Has the same type of vibe. One sister is the fighter. And a hell of a fighter at that. Love kick ass no nonsense females. The other sister is a healer. Why is it that healers, especially female ones, seems to be sugar sweet and overly optimistic. I know that being an empath would keep one from being unnecessarily violent. The empath can, after all, feel the other person discomfort/pain. But when you are living in a world were you are fighting demons, I would think you become tough since it's always a life or death fight. The romance interest is Duncan. You know there there had to be a romance element right. No worries it doesn't take away from the action in the story.Anyway, quick read. Kept my interest from the beginning. If you are a fan of paranormal read then you will probably enjoy Blood Lust.
About Jill Cooper
I could write this in the third person. I could tell you what I like, where I was born, and what my favorite things are.
But instead, I’ll say I don’t want to write like everyone else. I don’t want to craft stories you’ve read a thousand times before. I want my novels to be a cinematic experience, blending themes, genres, and situations unlike any you’ve ever read.
I want to break the rules. I want you to break out in a cold sweat as you read my books out of fear, love, and excitement. I want my books to be an experience. When you finish, I want you to feel something. Good or bad.
If you do, then I’ll have succeeded. If not, I’ll keep trying.
