Insurgent by Veronica Roth
Ok so if you haven't heard the second book in the Divergent series will be release in May 2012. I don't know about you all but I am looking forward to it. I had the first book but unfortanutely it got deleted from my Kobo and I didn't save in on my hard drive :( Anyway, if the second book is anything like the first I'm sure I will love it as well.
I read this book in less than seven hours. I literally could not put it down. Divergent was by far my favorite book I read last year and I honestly thought this book would be kind of a letdown after that. So many second books of trilogies are filler, and this was not! I loved seeing into every faction and finding out more about the world. My favorite thing was probably the relationship between Tris and Tobias. It was so realistic. I loved that there was no love triangle and that everything was not perfect between them, and instead seeing how they figured things out and came to terms with their new reality. There were so many twists and turns and the book was just completely not what I expected. It set up book three amazingly well and I don't know how I'll be able to wait for the third! I think I'll have to re-read it soon just to be able to comprehend all that happened.
ReplyDeleteThanks for you comment. I must say that I am having trouble getting through any book right now. I wasn't too sure about this book in the first couple of pages but at page 17-18 it grabbed my attention. I hope to get through it by tomorrow the latest. I'm anxious to see how I like it.
