I am so excited to be one of this week's featured blogger. Happy, happy, joy, joy! -Ren and Stimpy reference. Did you get it? No...come on I'm not that old :)
When did you start blogging?
I started blogging around 6 years (maybe 7) ago in November.
What is your favorite part of book blogging?
My favorite part of blogging is meeting new bloggers. If have read things I wouldn't have read on the recommendation of fellow bloggers.
What type of books do you mainly blog about?
I mainly blog about Y.A., N.A., romance, and street lit books. I can usually relate to the story and characters of these types of books.
What is your favorite book(s)?
LOL. The Harry Potter series. I was reluctant to read it at first. I was older and I was like many people who thought the books (book 1 and 2 were out) were for kids. After noticing how many adults were reading them I decided to give it a chance and been in love ever since!
What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
Having authors reach out to me has been the best thing that has happen. Some want reviews which I appreciate being thought of but others we actually chit chat. I think that is pretty awesome to be able to fall in love with a book and talk to the author about it.
This week’s Question - Suggested by Second Run Reviews.
Have you ever had a reoccurring dream? What was it?
Yes I have. I am walking down a random street. Then all of a sudden I turn into my younger self maybe around 6 or 7. I end up in my hometown in a diner that I have never been in before. Like seriously I never been in a diner there so that's odd. Anyway, the door opens and there is this bright golden light. And as anticlimactic as it is the dream ends. Sooooo that's it. That's there dream. How did you answer this question.
Oooo. I'm intrigued, and yet that has to be probably a very frustrating experience to keep happening. Does the diner in your dream actually exist in your hometown?
ReplyDeleteThat dream sounds really mysterious! Maybe sometime you'll keep dreaming and see what the light is.

If I turned into my younger self I'd probably just start reading in my dream xD Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great week!

Congratulations on being one of this weeks featured bloggers! That sounds like a really cool dream. I agree with Jessica Nicole and think that could be the beginning of a fantasy novel. New Follower via GFC. Here's my FF post.

Oh yeah I forgot to say, I totally get the Ren and Stimpy reference. I loved them as a kid. That does not make us old lol.
ReplyDelete@Tishia - Thanks!
ReplyDelete@Andretta - Thanks for getting the reference :) And thanks for the advice I may just do that.
@Stina - I know but I think I wake myself up. I certainly don't make any effort to go towards the light.
@Beth - I don't know the name of the diner. I'm just in it.
@Andrea - lol I'm glad you got it too. It was a weird cartoon but I loved it.
