  3. Yes, I like this challenge and I learned a lot from the last one. It was my first big challenge. I figure with the last Harry Potter movie coming out in July I figured people may want to move on from HP after it.

I'll be hosting other challenges that are hopefully just as much fun. Hey, maybe I'll keep the HP inspired challenges going. Y'all got me thinking now. LOL

  4. Bunnitaz, seriously if you had other challenges that were in this type of format I would be all over it. I think this is just soo much fun. I like being sorted into teams and trying to find books for different categories. And I never watch the movies but still read the books every year so really this wont be my last year.

  9. Hey!I see that you said 15 points for each additional book so does that mean we can do more than 3 for each mini challenge? Because I also see something that says maximum points 30. Thanks!

  10. Hey everyone. Yes, you can read more than 3 books for the mini challenges. The max points mean that was you are required to complete the challenge and get the 25 point bonus.

  11. So I can assume that all 7 Harry Potter books would not count for the 7 books in series...not that is a problem. I'm sure I can find a series to read :)

  12. Yes you can read the Harry Potter books for the 7 books in a series. For those who don't want read or re-read the HP books can read a different series. The requirement is only that the 7 books have to be in one series or its spin-off.

  14. Can Anita Blake books count for the Hide and Seek challenge? I'm really excited for the Hogwarts challenge. I'm not exactly sure how to sign up for it, but if you go to my site you'll see my list and a link to this site! Thanks for making 2011 so much more fun!

  15. Just curious if there are going to be more mini challenges for later in the year or is this it? Just want to be prepared :)

  16. I was just wondering if the 7 books in a series are worth more than 1 point a piece.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Just wondering if for the flight or fight mini challenge we can use other flying creatures beyond birds. IE The Girl who Kicked Hornets Nest. The hornets being the flying animal.

  18. For Fight or Flight, can books set on spaceships count? Although, if it's a military spaceship it might already be covered. And does dystopian where the character realizes that they have to rebel against the society count as fighting? Or do they need to already be actively in the resistance? So many questions. Sorry. :)

  19. Hey Fakesteph,
I dont mind the questions. The anwser to your questions is Yes. Even an internal struggle with one's self would count.

  20. Sorry MommyReads,
Yes and type of flight counts. Real or imagined birds, insects, machines etc

    ReplyDelete
  21. @Kay sorry I thought I had answered you. Yes Anita Blake series counts.

@MommyReads my next challenge is High School Challenge. There will be mini challenges called extra credit and clubs but no prizes for them. The prizes will be at the end in June. One main prize and then other winners. No houses but homerooms.

Summer school starts July 1st so there will be a post soon, real soon.

  22. I was just wondering if the 7 books in a series are worth more than 1 point a piece.

If you've answered this somewhere else, sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  23. @ Andrea sorry...I knew I missed one. No the 7 books in a series is only worth one point each. Only a HP, a HP related book, or a Mini Challange book is worth more than one point.

  24. Fight or Flight book ideas that can also count as your 7 in series

    Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum Series

Law and Order books (because Law in Order has spin offs you can read any combo such and Criminal Intent, SVU etc)

    J.D. Robb's Eve Dalls series

    James Patterson's Alex Cross books

  25. Thanks for all your answers! :)
