The Bookworm Award

The Bookworm Awards

WOW! I never thought I would win an award this early in my blogging experience. I'll first like to thank God. I would like to thank my Mom for always believing in me. My family and friends who are always understanding about my book addiction. I would like to thank DeSeRt RoSe for thinking of me for this award. And last but certainly not least, I would like to thank you, the readers, because without you this award would not be possible. (LOL! that's a pretty good acceptance speech)

Here is how it goes: Open the book closest to you, not your favorite or most intellectual book, but the book closest to you at the moment, to page 56. Write out the fifth sentence, as well as two to five sentences following there. The closest book to me is Love at First Sight by B.J. Daniels.

She'd showered and changed and didn't feel half-naked anymore, but she also didn't feel quite herself, either. This new braver, more impetuous Karen scared her.

That's why she wasn't sure what her reaction was going to be as she let Denny envelop her hand in his larger one and was relieved when she felt nothing. Zip. Not even a flutter. Nothing that is, other than frustration at not being able to place where she'd seen him before.

I'm new to blogspot so I don't know many here yet. I'm only able to tag two people.
