My Review:
I was expecting...I'm not sure what I was expecting. I guess I was looking for an emotional tug. It had promise. Thinking of it I think i was expecting a dark story with a some what happy ending. Anna i couldn't really get into cause I couldn't recoincide that a girl would would runaway at 13 would so easily accept being home back in the same circumstance she ranaway from in the first place. Also I'll tell you right now I had a problem with her agreeing to go back to high school. What almost 17 year old former runaway goes back to high school as a freshman?
I just couldn't fall for any of the characters. To be honest, I knew that I wasn't going to connect with this book early on. I finished it hoping that I'll have that moment when the book wins me over, sadly, I didn't happen. I do think that someone thing of running away could get something out of it. It isn't a bad book at all. It just has an off feel about it to me. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
