Do you ever feel like you’re in a reading rut? That you don’t read enough variety? That you need to branch out, spread your literary wings and explore other genres, flavors, styles?
Oh my yes. Right now I am reading a lot of urban fiction. I would love to read more literary works but they just don't seem to hold my attention as much right now. I am really into quick reads right now and I find that the books I would like to read would take awhile to get through. Maybe once falls rolls back around I'll be more willing to cuddle up with a more serious book.
Variety does help, sometimes.

I bore easily and try to read different kinds of books. I do have genres I like more than other, but even within a genre it's possible to find a lot of variation.

I find I don't have the time for more serious books either. I tend to focus on the more quick easy reads.
