My Review
Short story teen holiday romance. Holly is the girl next door. Caleb is good boy turned edgy popular kid leaving Holly a distant memory or so she thinks. While helping Caleb pick out a gift for his girlfriend maybe they can at least become the friends they used to be.
The characters are okay. It is only 28 pages so there isn't much time for character development. Caleb's speech at the end bothered me. It just didn't feel like something a teenage boy would say. It was very romance novely... I know that's not a word but you know what I mean.
Quick one sitting read. Besides the title and the present used as a plot device it not much of a Christmas story. Read if you are looking for something to get out a funk.

About the Author
Stella Wilkinson is a full time author with fourteen books currently available, plus inclusion in four anthologies, three multi-author sets and even a cook book!
Stella is from the South West of England, UK, where she lives in a world populated mainly by her characters, and where romance and the occasional paranormal creature are what she thinks and writes about. Although she is best known for her hugely successful Flirting Games Series, she also has two stand alone novels and two other series titled Lessons in Love and Magic & Mayhem, which are young adult romantic comedies. Stella is an enthusiastic (if dreadful) cook, and loves to bake chocolate brownies by the dozen. She also collects antique books and first editions of any genre at all, so her walls are filled with dusty smelly old books on various boring subjects that she treasures and her family hates
