My Review
Good book. The beginning took some getting into due to the world building that had to be done. After that the story is simply engaging. I am fascinated by lucid dreaming. This book makes you want to close your eyes and go off on a journey. Anyway, This story is about two brothers. They end up in a car crash. One brother ends up in a coma while the other tries to wake him.

Both brother are lucid dreamers. While Jonas is trying to find his brother he find himself having to overcome things within himself as well as confronting to creatures Night Terror, and REM. Great names right! If you are at all interested in dream world like stories or are a lucid dreamer this is the read for you.

If you do not know what lucid dreaming is then I would suggest you look it up as I'm not an authority in that area. However, I am a lucid dreamer. I am not sure when I started having lucid dreams but I am pretty sure that it start out of necessity.

As a child I was afraid of the dark. I also had really bad nightmares (but not night terrors). So at some point in my childhood I learned how to change my nightmare into a more pleasing dream. I would visualize a television and flip through channels until I got to something I wanted to dream about. I do mean flip through channels, shows would be on. LOL. The mind I tell ya. Anyway that is how I came about having lucid dreams.

It is rare from me to go to sleep with the intention to have a lucid dream. Usually I am already asleep with something weird happens that alerts me to the fact that I am dreaming. Some times I wake up, some times I do my channel flipping thing, and some times if it's already a good dream I roll with it.
